RRCF is partnering with Sheng-Yen Lu Foundation, individual donors, private foundations, King County’s Communities of Opportunity (COO), and another Best Starts for Kids initiative – the Community Well-Being Initiative (CWI) – in a public-private partnership to support the health and wellbeing of immigrant and refugee organizations and other communities impacted by federal policies in South King County.
Through this initiative our goals are to:
- Provide immediate support for basic needs during this crisis and the ongoing assault on immigrant communities.
- Fund rapid response safety needs.
- Support mental health management, community care, and healing.
- Build sustainable systems and infrastructure in South King County to respond effectively to current and future challenges.
