Site reviews – It is important to RRCF that you feel good about the grant you make and that your money is wisely spent. Therefore, if you wish to recommend a grant to a nonprofit with which we are not yet familiar, we will conduct a site review in advance of the grant. The site review ensures that your chosen grantee is a viable organization in good financial standing and will utilize your generous donation in the manner for which you intended it.
Grant Guidance – We have a working knowledge of most of the active nonprofits in the Puget Sound area. As you consider your giving options, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re happy to help!
Recognition – Not everyone appreciates a public acknowledgment of their gift. Yet, giving publicly often encourages others to follow your generous example. If you wish to publicize your gift, our experienced staff can assist with press releases, social media postings, newsletter articles, and the presentation of checks.
Through our association with US Bank Charitable Services Group, we can provide the expertise necessary to make a complicated planned gift, such as a life estate or charitable remainder trust. We can also provide the proper wording should you choose to include your fund in your will, so that you feel confident your fund will be provided for after your passing.
We don’t ever want you to feel alone. At RRCF, we work hard to make you part of a community.
Fund Advisor Appreciation Dinner — Each year, RRCF holds a Fund Advisor Appreciation Dinner, giving donors an opportunity to network with other donors and learn first-hand what is going on within the Foundation.
Investment roundtable — We hold an annual investment roundtable, which gives advisors the opportunity to meet our portfolio manager in person, ask questions, and hear about the status of the market and our investment account.
Committees and task forces — We would love to include you on a committee or task force that is working for the greater good of the entire organization. For example, many of our scholarship fund advisors sit on our Scholarship Committee, helping to facilitate the program and make annual awards. Others have sat on our Event Committee or Finance Committee.
Under One Roof Community Campaign — To make the most of our annual giving day, we assemble a committee of fund advisors to help make decisions, develop promotional ideas, and discuss incentives.
Educational Seminars — Each year, we provide education on a topic of interest to our fund advisors. It might be marketing, planned giving, or storytelling. This is a great way for fund advisors to get to know each other and share resources.
