“Without the help of grants from the RRCF, we would not be able to meet some of the needs of the poor in our community. We have received money for client transportation, new bedding, and helping people get into rehabilitation.”
Lani Cavit, St. Vincent de Paul at St. Anthony Church
“Our small board of dedicated volunteers had big dreams and a passion for promoting the arts in Renton. Raising the funds to make that happen however, was difficult. In 2004 we created a fund with RRCF which has almost doubled since then. Our dreams have come true big time!”

FIRST FINANCIAL NORTHWEST FOUNDATION GRANTs
The First Financial Northwest Foundation Fund (FFNWF Fund) was created when First Savings Bank of Renton went public with its first stock offering. The board chose to partner with the Renton Regional Community Foundation to facilitate its grant program by creating two different grant funds. The First Financial Northwest Foundation Fund covers King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications for the FFNWF Fund are accepted from nonprofits in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties only.
Each year, the FFNWF Fund holds a single grant cycle. During the first phase, organizations submit a letter of inquiry. The donor advisors meet to narrow down the list, and the remaining organizations are asked to submit a full application.
Grants are announced in late December and awarded at the CELEBRATE! The Love of Community event held annually in late January or early February of the following year.
Dates for the grant cycle are announced in June/July each year. At that time, updated information will become available on our website. (Applications are closed now for 2017)
You may review the application process at any time.
